Farewell

When did we all lose our track,

and in the end what will it cost.

We used to be so full of vision,

I`m sure we had a mission,

but now most of it is lost.

No longer will I endure,

the harm we bring to each other.

Tell me where this sickness came from,

and why we just carry on,

where there is so much

to be recovered.

I shall always love you,

I shall always thank you,

all my older brothers and sisters,

for all that you have done,

all that you have done, for me.

It`s better to smile then not to smile,

and that may be true usually.

Why should I be smiling about,

if nothing`s worth smiling about,

I`d only be lying to thee.

I pray the day it shall come,

when we might stand again as one.

One at heart, one in mind,

and no one to be left behind,

but can the damage be undone.

I shall always love you,

I shall always thank you,

all my older brothers and sisters,

for all that you have done,

all that you have done, for me.

Soon we will be dancing

and we`ll sing songs of the past.

One day we`ll be laughing

for these stuggles are not meant to last.

Soon ...
